Please note:I am not dead, I'm recovering a very fucked up hard disk :( Jan2012

What am I looking at, exactly?

Hopefully a bundle of useful things I've written, stolen, imagined or plagiarised. They're neatly arranged into categories like:

The initial post from when I first set out:

Another blog, great...

Yeah, well. I have found a bundle of writings in my assorted homedirs over many boxen and scp 'ed archives in /home/home/home/home/f00li5h from old old homedirs.

I figure that some of these things may be interesting, hopefully in one of the categories.

I hope to be able to share something helpful, interesting or at minimum something neat with you.

HOWTOs and assorted technical things.

Some of the things I have found are just chunks of code, but from them there are handy hints, things that I have one to work round limitations of a language, or exciting little things that I have written that entertain me...

Things that I have learnt from neat languages, as going through tutorials, textbooks and the likes

Ideas, designs and problems!

Sometimes I find myself on a $public_transport , with an idea buzzing about in my head design of software, user interface, or objects...

Some structures seem to solve interesting problems, interesting problems are more trixy to solve...

There are ever so many interesting things to do, and they are all much more fun than doing whatever task it is that I am supposed to do

Hopefully intelligent discussions.

... on the topic of arts, philosophy, programming practices, photography, cartoons, and any other things that I find interesting to talk about...

Memes and other such online silliness.

It seems unlikely that I will be able to have any kind of public document store without posting memes in it, I'm sure everyone expects this.

It is likely these will have very short urls, so i can post them on IRC or IM

Coming up!

It seems like it might be worth just picking a sensible blog engine, but that's not as much fun.

I have rushed to this mojomojo deployment since the free hosting guys I was with before finally pulled the plug on me (after I ingored their "we're removing free plans" emails for 3 months)

  • sane rss feeds
  • publishing and permissions settings
  • reasonable commenting and feedback
